National Curriculum

The National Curriculum is the statutory curriculum that all maintained schools must follow. Academies must deliver a broad and balanced curriculum and must teach English, Maths and Science as well as RE.

The National Curriculum was updated in 2013 and became statutory in 2014. In addition to this, there is a curriculum for Religious Education and from September 2020, Relationships Education.

The National Curriculum can be viewed by following the link below.
