Welcome to Egremont

Welcome to Egremont Primary School. I am very proud to be the headteacher of this school because each day I have the opportunity to work with the wonderful children from our local community and I am supported by the most dedicated and amazing staff team. Egremont is also a proud member of the Oak Trees Multi-Academy Trust and we are on a very exciting journey of school development. We work in close collaboration with the other schools - Stanton Road, Church Drive, Poulton Lancelyn, Brackenwood Juniors, Great Meols and Greasby Juniors - and we are very well supported by the trust.

Daily life at Egremont is underpinned by our vision of pride, perseverance and progress - something we all try very hard to achieve in everything we do. We are a very happy and supportive school and strive to overcome any barriers to learning that our children may face. We are determined that our children learn in a respectful and safe environment and that they leave Egremont with the academic, social and personal skills needed for them to succeed in the next phases of their education. We are very much committed to our children making personalised progress and we have high expectations for what can be achieved.

Strong parental links are important to us. We have an active parent and teacher group - Friends of Egremont - and we also welcome parents in on a weekly basis for parent forum meetings, to join our assemblies, to meet with our staff and to join in with some of our learning.
