Withdrawing your child from RE lessons
Parents and Carers have a right to withdraw their child, wholly or partly from:
Receiving religious education (RE) given in the school in accordance with the school's basic curriculum.
Attendance at religious worship in the school

If you would like to withdraw your child from RE please organise a meeting with the Headteacher so that this can be discussed.
Where a child is removed from RE at their parent's request the school has a duty to supervise the pupils but not to:
Provide additional teaching of RE
Incur additional costs
