SEND

SEND Information
At Egremont, we support all children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
We set the highest standards for their progress and nurture, so that all children reach their full potential.
Mrs Evans is the SENCo at Egremont Primary School. Miss Hoey is also part of the SEND team. Both Mrs Evans and Miss Hoey have the NASENCO qualification and can be contacted through the school office.
We realise that the world of SEND can be full of confusing jargon and acronyms. We have created support guides for different conditions which we hope will help to give a brief overview of definitions and advice for parents/carers.
Below is a link to the Wirral Local Offer which provides key information for children and young people (0 - 25 years) with special educational needs and disabilities. Also a link with a simple guide to Education Health Care Plans.
The local offer provides information on what services children, young people and their families can expect from a range of local agencies, including education, health and social care as well as information about other local, support services.
